(November 28th, 2025) Since November 2025, the Building Cost Information Center of the German Chambers of Architects (BKI) has been making the “Positions 13” software available with the building prices for 2025/2026. The solution supports secure tenders as well as cost and scheduling planning and thus provides the basis for well-founded statements. In addition to updated construction prices, new service areas and current regional factors are included.

“BKI Positions 13” offers:

- Statistical construction prices with market price ranges (min/average/max values) for each item included,
- Price information that reflects the current market level and takes into account the latest construction price developments,
- over 30,000 current construction prices from billed construction projects in 100 service areas,
- the new BKI construction cost regional factors 2026 for each city and district as well as island factors for the North and Baltic Seas, including regional factors for Austria and Europe.
Additions in this version:
- new positions in carpentry and timber construction (including wooden roofs and hollow box elements),
- waterproof basement windows in new buildings (for windows and external doors),
- new positions in technical building services (TGA), for example for photovoltaic systems, charging stations for electric vehicles and the expansion of battery storage,
- Services for rainwater retention, irrigation systems for vegetation areas and rainwater storage in outdoor areas,
- Extensions to the green roof positions to include retention elements, drainage layers and throttles.
Examination by professional associations
The new service descriptions are created by expert authors with practical experience and are subject to external quality control by specialist associations. A new addition is the Tiles and Natural Stone Association in the Central Association of the German Construction Industry.
Export functions
The new BKI positions 2025/2026 can be imported into standard AVA programs via the GAEB interface with BIM-compliant export (GAEB 3.3 incl. GUID). Exporting to Excel is also supported in various output options.
The “BKI Positions 13” with the construction prices for 2025/2026 are available as a new building, old building and as a complete edition at bki.de/bki-positions.
