French fintech Bitstackdedicated to bitcoin savings, announced that it had raised $4.5 million by opening its capital to the general public via the Crowdcube platform. The operation, completed in less than 24 hours, brought together more than 8,000 individual investors.
Initially set at $2 million, the fundraising was increased in response to demand, with more than $26 million in investment intentions and around 25,000 people registered in advance.
Founded in 2021 and based in Paris, Bitstack offers an application allowing you to save in bitcoin, in particular via automatic investment mechanisms such as payment rounding. The company claims more than 300,000 users and more than 300 million euros saved on its platform.
The funds raised must be used in particular to support the expansion of the company in Europe, the development of new products – including a euro account and a payment card – as well as the recruitment and production of educational content.
