Birkenstock is a German company born in 1774 to Jhann Adam Birkenstock who practiced the profession of the shoemaker. What brought this company to worldwide success was the creation of shaped cork footprints that surround and support the foot. For many years, comfortable but “unsightly” shoes have been called, until they furrowed the most important catwalk of high fashion. Today the models remained the same as when the company was born, but the colors range has been expanded and updated, making these slippers adaptable to each personality remaining comfortable and orthopedic.
