Police explanation

How can a policeman who has been fired be transferred by the National Police?

Head of the National Police’s Public Relations Division, Johnny Eddizon Isir, explained that the decision to transfer AKBP Didik to Yanma after the dismissal decision was made so that the PTDH process could be carried out further.

“The National Police Chief still remains firmly committed to enforcing the code of ethics decisions and the criminal process in the case of AKBP DPK (Didik Putra Kuncoro -ed),” said Johnny Eddizon Isir to Kompas.comMonday (2/3/2026).

He said, the transfer of AKBP Didik would actually make the dismissal process easier.

“The transfer of the person concerned as Pamen Yanma will simplify the personnel administration process in implementing the KKEP decision, in addition to the fingerprinting process carried out by the Narcotics Directorate, Bareskrim Polri,” said Johhny.
