The inspiration for this monumental undertaking stemmed from the January 1975 issue of Electronics Popular Magazine, which featured the Altair 8800, an early personal computer developed by Mits. this sparked a fire in Gates and his co-founder, leading them to dedicate countless hours to crafting the code that would become Altair Basic, Microsoft’s first product.
