The Importance Of Appointment Reminders: Understanding Why Your…

Appointment ‌Reminders: The ‍New⁤ Normal in Healthcare

New York – CNN

Are you gearing up for a visit to your healthcare provider? Brace yourself for a barrage of reminders coming your way. Gone are the days of a simple voicemail reminder; now, patients are bombarded with notifications through various channels like phone calls, text messages, emails, and online portals.

The increasing frequency of appointment reminders is driven by the financial pressure on medical practices to reduce no-shows. Empty slots due to missed appointments or last-minute cancellations result in revenue loss for healthcare providers.

The advent of new software systems has enabled automated messaging, leading to multiple notification systems that often do not sync with each other. This lack of coordination can overwhelm patients with notification overload.

According to Oliver Kharraz, CEO of ZocDoc, a coordinated approach is essential for effective patient communication. ZocDoc, for instance, sends three reminders to patients before their scheduled visit to ensure attendance.

However, excessive reminders can have the opposite effect, causing patients to tune them out. Patients may feel inundated with private health information being shared across various platforms.

While Americans are not missing more appointments than before,

Bitcoin At An All-Time High: The Reasons For…

Not tied to any real currencies, legally in the gray area, subject to high fluctuations as objects of speculation, a breeding ground for money laundering and other illegal activities: This is how cryptocurrencies have often been seen in the financial world in recent years.

But the picture has changed. On Friday evening, the price of the oldest and best-known cryptocurrency Bitcoin climbed to more than 70,000 US dollars (around 64,000 euros) for the first time. There has been an increase of more than 60 percent since the beginning of the year. The prices of other cryptocurrencies also rose in the wake. These are the reasons for Bitcoin’s all-time high:

Bitcoin-Fonds (ETF): In mid-January, the US securities regulator approved Bitcoin exchange-traded funds. This made it easier for investors to get started and was considered a milestone in the industry. ETFs are usually used to replicate the development of a stock market index. With these funds, fund providers purchase their Bitcoin holdings for their own account. Investors then do not receive the cryptocurrency itself, but rather a certificate certifying their claim to it. Demand increased, especially from institutional investors. Financially strong US pension funds, for example, are investing in the industry.

More Expensive Transavia Tickets At Schiphol Night Closure

#expensive #Transavia #tickets #Schiphol #night #closure

According to the aviation boss, to optimally utilize Transavia’s fleet, it is important that aircraft can fly back and forth to Southern Europe three times a day. This can come into question if there is a night closure.

“If we were to go to two flights per day, the price of tickets would double, for example from 300 to 600 euros per return ticket. Then flying would no longer be accessible to ordinary Dutch people,” says De Nooijer in an interview with De Telegraaf. “That means the end of the current Transavia.”

He also fears other problems. “If there is a night closure, we have to move to Brussels in the event of a delay. Then travelers have to take a bus to the Netherlands after their wonderful holiday at night. It has a lot of impact logistically.”

Schiphol already came up with its so-called eight-point plan last year. In it, the airport advocates, among other things, a night closure and the banning of private jets.

De Nooijer wants to continue to emphasize that the night closure is a bad idea,
