Within the genre of political war thrillers we can find an intense and amazing proposal that was released this year and has been available to stream for just a few days. We are talking about A House Full of Dynamite, a film that breaks with the usual to present us with a plot full of mystery that is capable of keeping you glued to your seat throughout the almost two hours that it lasts.
Directed by Kathryn Bigelow, the film is an ambitious commitment from Netflix that brings together a high-level cast led by Idris Elba and Rebecca Ferguson, among others. From there, the film presents us with several different perspectives of how the situation is being experienced in each place and how they end up intertwining, which causes the tension to be more constant, without the need for explosions and continuous destruction for the tension to be maximum. Its mix of political suspense, human drama and reflection on how the power or destiny of humanity falls on very few people is one of its strongest points.
Without a doubt, that vulnerability in which the nuclear defense system becomes a real nightmare, especially because it can mean the end of everything if the slightest mistake is made, is what makes this film so different and so memorable within the genre and you would do well to give it a chance.
