Phones up to PLN 1,500 are very popular in Poland. This is hardly surprising, because it is the optimal choice for most people. Not everyone can afford the best smartphone on the market, and in practice, not everyone needs one, so it’s not always worth paying extra. In turn, cheaper phones up to PLN 1,000 will not offer the same as a smartphone up to PLN 1,500. The differences here are really significant. If you are thinking about buying a phone that will provide good quality and a lot of functions for relatively little money, you should look for a price range of PLN 1,000-1,500. For people who find that the phones from the list below are still too much of a compromise for them, we recommend taking a look at our list of recommended smartphones up to PLN 2,000.
Which phone up to PLN 1,500? TOP 2026
Which phone up to PLN 1,500? What to pay attention to?
In this list we present phones available in popular Polish stores. Mainly the newest ones, but not only them, because sometimes a smartphone may be interesting, e.g. from a year ago, which cost over PLN 2,000 at its premiere and is now available much cheaper. In this way, we can buy a phone with a good camera for up to PLN 1,500, while we do not necessarily expect new features such as strong integration with AI functions.
So what should you pay attention to when choosing a good phone up to PLN 1,500? Classically, in the case of Android phones, you need to make sure that it has sufficient RAM resources. At this price, the minimum is 6 GB, but it is worth choosing models with 8 GB, and 12 GB will be a big advantage. When it comes to mass memory, we should consider 128 GB as the absolute minimum, but in fact you can even find models with 512 GB in this segment. It is less and less common to have a place for a microSD memory card, and if it is a good idea, check how it was planned by the manufacturer – it may be a hybrid slot at the expense of a SIM card or a separate slot. Similarly, it is worth checking whether eSIM support is available, and these may be useful, for example, when traveling abroad. It is also becoming more common to provide high-level IP certification. Compliance with IP65 should be an absolute standard, but you can also count on waterproof models with IP68/IP69.
The display is a matter of taste – some prefer larger ones (better, e.g. for YouTube or Netflix videos), while others prefer smaller, more handy and more convenient touch controls. AMOLED panels dominate, which can be pleasing from the users’ point of view. However, it would be good if not only the resolution was high enough (the standard is Full HD+), but also the brightness (it is worth remembering that peak brightness values are only noticeable with HDR content or in strong lighting) and refresh rate. At this price, we can now count on 120 Hz, which significantly improves the smoothness of animations when scrolling or playing games.
The smartphones described here have double or even triple cameras on the back, although most often the third one is more of an addition than a useful piece of equipment. However, there are exceptions, close to the upper price or slightly above it, you can look for models with a telephoto lens. However, if we do not strive to have the best camera in our phone at all costs, today’s smartphones up to PLN 1,500 are able to provide an acceptable quality x2 or even x3 zoom with a 200 Mpix, and sometimes 50 Mpix matrix. Before purchasing, it is best to check reviews of a given phone and read sample photos and videos – what is important is not the numbers in the specifications, but the actual response of the cameras to the existing photo and video conditions. You should also be aware that, despite everything, even a phone with a good camera up to PLN 1,500 will lag behind more expensive models, mainly in terms of photo and video capabilities.
For some people, the priority is for the phone to run fast for a long time and be well optimized. The latter feature allows manufacturers to achieve high fluidity even when using a relatively inefficient chipset compared to the fastest ones. It will be a good idea to buy a phone with pure or close to pure Android, or a model with a well-optimized system, such as OxygenOS (from OnePlus phones), which ensures smooth operation. The update situation has improved in recent years, and even in this budget you can count on smartphones that will receive new versions of Android for several years. You can’t count on an iPhone with iOS for prices up to PLN 1,500, even the cheapest iPhone 16e is an off-the-shelf product for PLN 2,500 – 3,000, just like last year’s iPhone 16 models.
Another issue is connectivity. More and more people admit that fast 5G cellular connectivity is an important element of the phone, which is already a standard in new phones of this class. It’s also useful NFC contactless communication for payments by phone in stores (just like with a regular card – just hold the phone close to the payment terminal). Modern Bluetooth (5.0 or newer) will also be welcome, because higher versions (if supported by the connected devices) ensure more efficient use of the battery and more efficient data transfer.

Samsung Galaxy A56 8/128 GB – the best smartphone up to PLN 1,500

The Galaxy A56 kept its price for a very long time and remained beyond the reach of people who had no more than PLN 1,500 to spend. Eventually, however, this changed and at the beginning of 2026 the 8/128 GB version is available for approximately PLN 1,300. It is a very solid phone both in terms of build quality and specifications, and additionally stands out positively in terms of manufacturer support related to operating system updates (Samsung declares as many as six further major versions of Android).
The front and back are covered with Gorilla Glass Victus+, the frame is aluminum, and the entire structure is protected against the harmful effects of water and dust in accordance with the IP67 standard. The screen measures 6.7 inches and, like many models from this manufacturer, offers great quality. It is a Super AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, as well as very pleasing colors and great contrast. Performance is solid, the Exynos 1580 processor works with 8 GB RAM and UFS 3.1 internal memory, and the photographic capabilities are one of the best in this budget. Galaxy A56 has a triple main camera in a 50 Mpix configuration with OIS + 12 Mpix + 5 Mpix. These are wide-angle, ultra-wide-angle and macro lenses and each of them provides good quality photos, none of them is so-called plug the hole. You can count on 4K video recording at 30 fps, also from the 12 Mpix front camera.
The expected elements in this model include stereo speakers and a set of wireless communication modules, but there is no microSD card reader present in previous proposals in this series. The non-obvious advantage of the Galaxy A56 is the battery. Not so much its capacity, but support for 45 W charging. It is far from market records, but this manufacturer has repeatedly shown that you can insist on much slower charging in mid-range or even high-end models.
OnePlus Nord CE5 8/128 GB – a good phone “for a thousand”

OnePlus Nord CE5 is available for just over PLN 1,000 in the 8/128 GB variant. The price is tempting and the design is quite similar to that of the Galaxy A56, very minimalist. As befits this manufacturer, performance is good, OnePlus Nord CE5 has a Mediatek Dimensity 8350 processor and UFS 3.1 internal memory, as well as a well-optimized OxygenOS based on Android 15 (users will receive four major updates and six years of security patches). The battery is 5,200 mAh and supports 80 W fast charging, and the AMOLED screen measures 6.77 inches and supports 120 Hz refresh rate. Some people may like the presence of a microSD card slot.
Due to the truly affordable price, however, it was not without compromises. The OnePlus Nord CE5 case is made entirely of plastic and is not waterproof (IP65 only). There are also no stereo speakers, and the photographic possibilities are somewhat limited. The main camera has only two lenses – a wide-angle 50 Mpix with OIS and an ultra-wide-angle 8 Mpix. The first one is really good for a “1000” phone, the second one is rather average. Video recording is possible in up to 4K quality and 60 fps on the rear and up to Full HD and 60 fps on the front.
Nothing Phone 3a 12/256 GB – original smartphone for PLN 1,500

For those who like unique propositions and want to stand out, Nothing Phone 3a will be a much better option. This is another model from the family that attracts attention with transparent housings with glowing LED strips. The latter also have a practical function because they can signal notifications, synchronize with music, measure time after turning on the timer or illuminate the photos taken. In addition to the standard buttons, the casing also houses an additional Essential Space, but the entire structure is not waterproof (only IP64).
The Nothing OS system platform is also interesting. It’s “just” a modified Android, but with an original retrofuturistic interface. Nothing Phone 3a also has a solid 6.77-inch 120 Hz OLED screen, a 5000 mAh battery with 50 W charging, stereo speakers and a camera that is unique in this segment, including a 50 Mpix wide-angle lens with OIS, an 8 Mpix ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50 Mpix telephoto lens. It is worth noting, however, that the latter is not a periscope design, as in the Nothing Phone 3a Pro, and is noticeably weaker.
The well-known and proven Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor is responsible for performance here. It is almost perfect for this price, as it provides a reasonable compromise between performance, energy efficiency and work culture, which was confirmed by our tests. At the same time, Nothing Phone 3a uses UFS 2.2 memory, and in terms of performance it will be quite important which variant you choose – 8/128 GB currently costs approximately PLN 1,250, but the much more tempting 12/256 GB costs approximately PLN 1,500.
Poco M8 Pro 8/256GB – a cheap smartphone with a large battery

Poco M8 Pro is one of the new products on the market. It debuted at the beginning of 2026 and is positioned by the manufacturer similarly to the previous models in this series, i.e. as a smartphone that stands out from the competition primarily with a more aggressive design, higher performance and a better battery.
However, the price of less than PLN 1,200 did its job and translated into the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor and the accompanying UFS 2.2 internal memory. At the same time, for 8 GB RAM, because there is a variant with 12 GB RAM, but for now it costs just over PLN 1,500. In practice, Poco M8 Pro works well for everyday use and can also be used for gaming, but it should not be considered a smartphone mainly for gaming. Even though it has a large 6.83-inch 120 Hz AMOLED screen and a 6500 mAh battery that supports 100 W charging. In terms of operating time, it is really good, because the Poco M8 Pro lasts two, sometimes even three days. There are stereo speakers on board, complete communication facilities, but at the same time quite average cameras, which can also be considered a feature of this series of smartphones. On the plus side, it is waterproof according to the IP68 standard.
Poco X7 12/512GB – gaming smartphone up to PLN 1,500

Models from the Poco X series, including Poco X7, work well as gaming smartphones. Even though it’s already a year old, it still has excellent specifications. For less than PLN 1,200 (although there are promotions where it is even cheaper) you can currently buy a variant with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB of internal memory (UFS 2.2). At the same time, it has a Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Ultra processor and can easily play the vast majority of games, where an AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 480 Hz (in Game Turbo mode up to 2560 Hz) will also be useful. Its maximum brightness is up to 3000 nits.
Compared to its predecessors, Xiaomi decided to reduce the charging speed (although 45 W is not a tragedy), but the battery performs better at low temperatures. In terms of photography, you should rely primarily on the main 50 Mpix lens with OIS in the rear camera and the 20 Mpix selfie camera. Durability is solid, the screen is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and the waterproof certificate has been raised to IP68.
Motorola Edge 60 12/512GB – smartphone with a good camera up to PLN 1,500

The Motorola Edge 60 is, in a sense, the opposite of the Poco models. In this case, performance is not the strongest point. The Mediatek Dimensity 7300 processor and large memory resources (unfortunately in not very fast standards) are completely sufficient for smooth everyday work or multimedia support, but this model should not be considered as a gaming performance demon. Support is not record-breaking either, as it covers three major updates, starting with Android 15.
However, the list of advantages is much longer here. The Motorola Edge 60 has a very good 120 Hz pOLED screen, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a good 5200 mAh battery with 68 W charging, complete wireless connectivity, a microSD card slot, and photo-video capabilities that are extraordinary for this price range. The main camera has three lenses – a 50 Mpix wide-angle lens with OIS, a 50 Mpix ultra-wide-angle lens and a 10 Mpix telephoto lens with OIS with 3x optical zoom. It’s also interesting on the front, because the 50 Mpix selfie camera is a real treat for lovers of selfies and social media.
Workmanship? The back and frame are plastic, but the screen has Corning Gorilla Glass 7, and the entire structure is waterproof (IP68/IP69).
Vivo V60 Lite 8/256GB – smartphone up to PLN 1,500 with fast charging

Vivo V60 Lite is often inferior to the proposals of more famous competitors, and it undoubtedly also deserves attention. This is an affordable model, currently its price in most stores is around PLN 1,200.
It may be tempting because it offers a 6.77-inch AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, good performance thanks to the Mediatek Dimensity 7360 Turbo processor, 8 GB RAM and internal memory in the UFS 3.1 standard, as well as an above-average battery. The latter has a capacity of 6,500 mAh and lasts for over 2 days, and also supports 90 W fast charging.
