Yeti continues expanding its offerings and dropping hits. This time, it’s a food storage container that preserves and protects its contents like no other. Latching a lid and not having to worry about it immediately is true peace of mind in the eating on-the-go realm and that’s exactly what these units provided.
Even brittle potato chips rarely broke in the safe home of these containers, no matter where we took them. The compatibility is cool too, something the brand has always excelled at. We enjoyed stacking the three rectangular containers in between Yeti Ice Sheets when packing bigger meals that needed insulation.
About the only drawbacks we encountered in testing were the small-ish size of the medium especially and some odor issues. We noticed that microwaving or packing something like fish could leave a fishy odor in the container even after a handful of fairly thorough washings. But for the price, and getting that signature Yeti toughness, these food storage containers took home the blue ribbon.
Bonus points for the five-year warranty that comes standard and how easy the new storage containers are to clean (just throw them in the dishwasher when you get back). These are certainly in the running for Yeti’s best product it makes.
