All works in the exhibition are part of Curt Aspelin‘s collection. Curt, who was close friends with Bengt Lindström, also had a professional relationship over the years.
– Our friendship actually began when I, who at the time ran a frame factory in Mora, contacted Bengt and asked if I could design a frame that would fit well with his art. And of course I got that. I thought he had such ugly frames for his artworks. And that’s the way it was, says Curt Aspelin.
Today, he and his family have over 4,500 works by Bengt Lindström in their possession.
