The first half saw a tight contest, with the two teams neck and neck at the 10th minute (17-17).

Early fouls plagued both sides, with Kyara Linskens receiving his 2nd fault after just 7 minutes, and Antonia Delaere following suit in the 14th. The Czechs briefly took a four-point lead (29-33) before an 8-0 run put the Belgians back in control, with Lisowa making her presence felt.

Julie German contributed significantly, bringing the score to 41-37 at halftime.

The Belgian Cats came out strong in the second period, with kyara Linskens leading the charge with four free throws and a 3-point shot, pushing the lead to 48-38.The Belgians focused on attacking the basket, which opened up more opportunities from beyond the arc, including a three-pointer from German Julie, making it 52-38.

BelgiumS strong defense further fueled their offensive capabilities, allowing them to play their signature collective game. After establishing a 17-point lead at 55-38, they extended it to 58-46 with half an hour played.

In the final quarter, the Czech Republic switched to a zone defense, but it proved ineffective. Julie Vanloo hit her first three-pointer (61-46) before Linskens committed her 3rd foul (32nd minute). Vanloo further extended the lead to 17 points (63-46, 33rd minute). From that point on, Belgium cruised to an authoritative and convincing victory.
