A new update to the Viajando application, a platform for booking interprovincial tickets, will be available in October, which includes improvements to speed up the purchase process.

According to specialists from the Transportation Information Services Company (Sitrans), developer of the APK, the update comes with “a renewed visual design and a new platform that will allow, among other benefits, to improve performance, accessibility and attendance at times of greatest use.”

The sixth version is related to the citizen’s single file, which will allow customers to save time when purchasing tickets, commented engineer Alejandro Rodríguez de la Cruz, leader of the project.

In addition, the sale of tickets for the ferry to the special municipality of Isla de la Juventud and self-confirmation are included, meaning that the person does not need to be at the terminal to be able to check their trip, as they can already do so from the APK itself.

Priority has also been given to a new information section on the ticket marketing process, which “will make it easier for the user to make decisions when making a trip,” the company describes.

Planetarium Torren, NASA headquarters to broadcast the eclipse

Torreon, Coah. More than a million glances look up at the sky: the moon devours the sun, as the Mayans would say, and for a few minutes, the day darkens for four minutes.
So many centuries of this astronomical spectacle and it never ceases to amaze us, the celestial vault reminds us again of our infinite smallness.

About 200 astronomers from NASA and the world installed in the Torreón Planetarium, thousands of people looking out of their windows, children watching from the roofs of their houses: this solar eclipse will not be repeated in Mexico until March 2052.

The urban forest is full. Complete families, with everything and loins, lie down on the grass and, with their certified glasses, look directly at the sun.

Science buffs set up their telescopes and allow curious people to approach them, and others assemble their own with cardboard boxes and small mirrors.

At 55 percent of the eclipse, the sun looks like a bright yellow crescent moon, and people shout and clap, spread their arms and ask for health and abundance; The birds sing and the dogs get upset: the animals begin to show strange behavior.

SpaceXs Starship Could Revolutionize NASAs Mars Sample Return Mission

Welcome to Edition 6.40 of the Rocket Report! There was a lot of exciting news this week. For the first time, SpaceX launched a reusable Falcon 9 booster for a 20th flight. A few miles away at Cape Canaveral, Boeing and United Launch Alliance completed one of the final steps before the first crew launch of the Starliner spacecraft. But I think one of the most interesting things that happened was NASA’s decision to ask the space industry for more innovative ideas on how to do Mars Sample Return. I have no doubt that space companies will come up with some fascinating concepts, and I can’t wait to hear about them.

As always, we welcome reader submissions, and if you don’t want to miss an issue, please subscribe using the box below (the form will not appear on AMP-enabled versions of the site). Each report will include information on small-, medium-, and heavy-lift rockets, as well as a quick look ahead at the next three launches on the calendar.

Gilmour Space has raised its privately developed Eris rocket vertical on a launch pad in North Queensland for the first time, marking an important milestone in Australia’s space industry.

The best QNAP NAS for home user/small office 2024, QNAP TS-462 review

With the Turbo Station TS-462, QNAP offers an extremely interesting NAS. This offers an Intel processor, 2.5 Gbit LAN, 4 hard drive slots and 2x NVME SSD slots.

To make it even better, the NAS also has a PCIe expansion slot.

The TS-462 is a very nicely compact NAS. But what does it look like in practice? How fast is the TS-462? Is the Intel Celeron N4505 sufficient and what about the software?

Let’s find out in the test!

At this point, many thanks to QNAP for loaning us the TS-462 for this test.

QNAP Turbo Station TS-462 im Test

From a purely visual perspective, the TS-462 is one of QNAP’s entry-level/home models. This has a simple housing made of white high-gloss plastic, with a copper/gold accent on the front.

The 4x hot swap slots are hidden under a cover.

However, when we look at the back we see that the TS-462 is not an absolute entry-level NAS. This has the following connections:

1x 2,5 Gbit LAN
1x USB 3.0
2x USB 2.0
1x HDMI

2.5 Gbit LAN is very good!

Discovering the Largest Stellar-Mass Black Hole in the Milky Way Galaxy: Unexpected Findings in Astronomy

2024-04-18 05:00:05
A research paper by a team of astronomers claiming to have accidentally discovered the largest stellar-mass black hole ever detected in the Milky Way Galaxy has been published in the astronomical journal Astronomy & Astrophysics.announcementIt was done.

Stellar-mass black holes are formed by the gravitational collapse of a star, usually via a supernova explosion. It is much smaller than supermassive black holes such as Sgr A*, which is located at the center of our galaxy. Sagittarius A* has a mass about 4 million times that of the Sun, while the newly discovered stellar-mass black hole, Gaia BH3, has a mass about 33 times that of the Sun.

unexpected discovery

Gaia BH3 is about 2,000 light years away in the constellation Aquila, making it the second closest known black hole to Earth. Most of them are less than 10 times the mass of the Sun, and Cygnus X-1, the second-largest stellar-mass black hole in our galaxy, is only 21 times the mass of the Sun.

“No one expected that we would find a high-mass black hole lurking nearby, undetected until now,” said Pasquale Panuzzo, an astronomer at the Paris Observatory of the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS).

PlayStation 5 Pro will be equipped with a more powerful GPU and faster CPU mode

MADRID, (Portaltic/EP) – Sony is working on a new version of PlayStation 5, PS5 Pro, a console that will include a more powerful graphics processing unit (GPU) and a high-frequency mode of the central processing unit (CPU) .

Trinity – the code name by which this hardware is known internally – will have a high CPU frequency mode of 3.85 GHz and the Japanese company will offer developers the possibility of choosing between this and a standard mode. 3.5 GHz – which works like a current PS5 -, according to documents that Sony has provided to the developers and to which The Verge has had access.

In the case of the latter, Sony says it runs at a speed of 3.5 GHz if power range allows, or at lower frequencies if the platform is performing “high-power operations.”

As for high-frequency mode, the company maintains in these documents that more power is allocated to the CPU, which means that the GPU receives less power, which translates into “1 percent less performance.”

In the case of the memory configuration of this device, the new documents from the manufacturer indicate that, since the memory system is more efficient in the PS5 Pro,
