What was apparent at the top of the table in the district league has now happened, namely that a two-way battle is becoming a three-way battle. While the still leading third team from FC Adler Weidhausen (24:8 points) celebrated a 9:1 victory against SG Köppelsdorf, the second “Adler” representation at TSG 2005 Bamberg II did not get beyond a 5:5. The leading trio now also includes FC Baunach (19:9), which won against TTC Burgkunstadt II 7:3 and is only one minus point more than the two Weidhausen teams.

Dark clouds seemed to be gathering over the guests who were among the title candidates. This is because they were 0-3 behind after losing both doubles and the first singles of the day. But then Weidhausen started to catch up. With victories from Christian Leffer, Andre Fischer and Yannick Rauscher, the score was equalized at 3:3. In the women’s district league, second place TTC Tiefenlauter (15:3 points) and TTC Thann (7:15) separated with a 5:5 draw. Third place TSV Unterlauter (11:7) kept the upper hand with 6:4 at TV 1886 Ebersdorf (7:11).
