Together with the pilot Hans Ostler, the filmmaker Joseph Vilsmaier goes on a journey through Bavaria. In his luggage: a special camera worth 500,000 euros with which the renowned director wants to capture the beauty of the Free State in breathtaking aerial photos. The “dream journey through Bavaria” takes Vilsmaier through some of the most beautiful cities in the country, across Franconia, the wildly romantic landscapes of the Bavarian Forest and the Upper Bavarian lakes all the way to the high mountains. The result is a unique declaration of love for Bavaria.
