In view of the military strikes on Iran, people are also taking to the streets in Munich. They hope that the Iranian government will be overthrown.

Munich (dpa/lby) – After the attacks by Israel and the USA on Iran, numerous people demonstrated in Munich against the leadership in Tehran. According to the police, around 500 people took part in the protest under the slogan “No to the Islamic Republic of Iran!”

According to a police spokesman, the demonstration was peaceful. At the beginning, around 250 participants came together for a rally at Gärtnerplatz. The protest march later passed two other gatherings, so that around 250 more demonstrators joined. The train reached the Prinz-Carl-Palais in the early evening. The rally there was expected to last until 8 p.m., a police spokesman said.

People also took to the streets against the Iranian government in other German cities, such as Berlin, Hamburg and Frankfurt.
