Amateur Fighters Rise to the Challenge: A Night of Unforgettable Experiences

Imagine stepping into a packed arena, bathed in the glare of spotlights, knowing that months of intense training have led to this very moment. This was the reality for four amateur fighters who, for three months, dedicated themselves entirely to preparing for the Battle of Baroque IV. Their sacrifices culminated in an experience they describe as “indescribable.”

Finja Happe, victor in the women’s bout against Miriam Puster, captured the sentiment shared by all participants: The feeling was indescribable. Even in defeat, Puster emphasized the overwhelming support and sense of accomplishment: Everyone saeid: You did a great thing. No matter how it went. The time was hard for everyone, but you don’t go out as a loser. Not even when you lost. Puster also noted the surreal nature of the fight itself, stating, The memories of the fight are vague. I know that I was there, but somehow something is missing. This highlights the intense mental and physical demands of such a competition.

The men’s fight between Jochen Köhler and Arian Krasniqi was equally captivating. Krasniqi described the disorienting atmosphere: I was not as nervous before and when he started it, but in the ring it was like a colosseum around you. It was a strange feeling. Köhler echoed this sentiment, explaining how instinct took over: I don’t know what was called by the coaches in the ring. Only the body reacted, you can see that in the video. The camaraderie was also evident, with Krasniqi humorously recalling hearing what he thought were food orders from Köhler’s corner, a testament to the bond formed between the fighters and their teams.

Organizers and Coaches Hail the Event as a Resounding Success

The Battle of baroque IV was not only a triumph for the fighters but also for the organizers and coaches who poured their hearts and souls into the event. Thorsten czynski, from the sports house in the Kohlhausen field, praised the professionalism displayed by the amateur fighters: I was positively surprised by both fights. This usually ends in a wild fight, but it looked professionally. Patrick Franz, an event organizer and sponsor, highlighted the growing demand for future events: A lot of me have asked me about whether we will do the next year, some want to apply.

What made the Battle of Baroque IV truly unique was the decision to feature amateur fighters in the main program,a first in germany. Czynski expressed his admiration for the fighters’ dedication: You did every three months. To do it that way, mentally and physically – the highest respect for it. It was a mega horny project.

Grandios for Fulda!

Coaches Sergej braun and Mario Dimitroff played pivotal roles in preparing the fighters. Braun, fresh off his own World Cup victory, commended Köhler’s defensive skills and noted the overall enhancement in the fighters’ strength and speed. Dimitroff emphasized the psychological aspect of fighting, stating, everything is going in your head, it is about seconds. But the audience treated you like a fighter. It was great for a city like Fulda. That should first imitate us.

Global Reach and local Impact: Battle of Baroque IV Captivates Audiences Worldwide

The Battle of Baroque IV garnered meaningful attention both locally and internationally. Prominent figures, including dr.Heiko Wingenfeld and the wife of District Administrator Woide, attended the event, demonstrating its importance to the Fulda community. The event’s reach extended far beyond Fulda, with Dimitroff and Czynski reporting interest from the Balkans, Düsseldorf, New York, and even inquiries from celebrities like Mola Adebisi.
