Whats in The Water at its a small world in Disney World?

There are so many fun facts about Disney and Disney rides that it’s almost impossible to know them all!

Walt poses with Rolly Crump, who shows him a scale model of his Tower of the Four Winds, which was located near the entrance of “it’s a small world.” [The Walt Disney Company]We try our best to learn as many as we can and share them with you, and one way we love to learn about Disney rides and history is through talking with Cast Members and watching Disney’s behind-the-scenes documentaries, like Behind The Attraction! We were wondering recently — what’s REALLY in the water of “it’s a small world?” And now we have some answers!

Water From ALL Over The World

When Walt Disney was getting ready to open “it’s a small world” in Disneyland Resort on May 28th, 1966, samples of water were gathered from ALL over the world to be poured into the ride’s Seven Seaways Canal during the ceremony.

Oregon Resident Infected with Bubonic Plague; Pet Cat Likely Source, Health Officials Say

The Dangers of Bubonic Plague: How Oregon Residents Can Protect Themselves and Their Pets

An Oregon resident has recently contracted the state’s first case of bubonic plague since 2015, according to health officials. The disease, also known as the “Black Death,” is a serious threat that requires immediate attention. In this article, we will explore the underlying themes and concepts of this alarming development and propose innovative solutions to protect against this infectious disease.

Identifying the Source

The infected resident is believed to have been exposed to the plague through their symptomatic pet cat, as stated by Deschutes County Health Services. Dr. Richard Fawcett, Deschutes County’s health officer, assures that all close contacts of the infected resident have been contacted and provided medication to prevent further illness.

Swift Response Minimizes Risk

Officials emphasize that there is little risk to the community because they were able to identify and treat this case in its early stages. Through their ongoing communicable disease investigation, no additional cases of bubonic plague have emerged.

Symptoms and Severity

Early diagnosis is critical for patients with suspected bubonic plague infections. Symptoms typically appear within two to eight days after exposure and may include fever,

The Importance of Movement and Antioxidants in Maintaining Health and Preventing Chronic Diseases

Dark chocolate, pecans, blueberries, strawberries, artichokes, goji berries, raspberries, kale, red cabbage, beans, beetroot, spinach, ginger, turmeric, garlic, rosemary, parsley, sage, okra – are foods very rich in antioxidants and molecules bioactives that support and complement the body’s own molecules and mechanisms to protect itself from harmful agents. But what if you don’t like any of the above? Or are you allergic to strawberries and nuts? Or do you suffer from irritable bowel syndrome and can’t eat beans and artichokes? Or does eating okra, goji and kale involve too much financial effort? On the other hand, no other action of ours can replace movement.

In any of these situations, you can opt for other foods – also of plant origin – that will provide you with the phytonutrients your body needs to stay healthy and strong. A diet rich in antioxidants can help neutralize free radicals, significantly lowering the risk of developing chronic disease: heart disease, type II diabetes, cancer, and more.

But if the antioxidants in goji can also be provided by cranberries, blackberries or raspberries, things are different when it comes to exercise. No other action of ours can replace movement. If physical activity can sometimes replace even a less balanced and adequate diet,

Cyberattack against Viamedis and Almerys: what precautions should be taken?

Viamedis and Almerys announced in recent days that they had been victims of a computer hack: between them, these companies provide the third-party payment mechanism on behalf of the supplementary health insurance of several million social security holders in France. In a press release published Wednesday February 7, the National Commission for Information Technology and Liberties (CNIL), the policeman of personal data, specified that “this data leak concerns more than 33 million people”.

However, the exact extent of this compromise remains very unclear: at this stage, it is not possible to say how many policyholders saw their data sucked up by the hackers. This figure of “33 million” is indeed an estimate. “At first glance, it appears that this volume represents the actual number of people whose data was compromised during the attack. The people concerned are those who are insured and whose names appear on the complementary health cards, this can be the main subscriber as well as the members of his family insured with him, specifies the CNIL, requested by The world.

“This volume may be revised upwards or downwards once the CNIL has completed its investigations,

WIGEV for Epilepsy Day: New EEG implant for long-term measurement of epilepsy patients | City vienna 2024-02-11 10:20:12

New monitoring has been in use at the Hietzing Clinic for a year and leads to optimized treatment methods for epilepsy patients through objective key figures

Vienna (OTS) – Epileptic seizures can appear out of the blue and often puzzle doctors. The best possible treatment requires the most objective and reliable picture of the seizure activity of people with epilepsy. “Subcutaneous EEG monitoring provides an objective measurement of seizure burden over a period of up to 15 months. This is particularly important because patients often do not even notice the attacks themselves and therefore a diary is not enough.”explains Prim. Christoph Baumgartner, head of the neurological department at the Hietzing Clinic.

In contrast to video-EEG monitoring, which is currently considered the gold standard, which requires inpatient admission to the clinic and can usually be carried out for a maximum of 5-7 days, patients can go about their everyday lives as normal during subcutaneous monitoring . To do this, an implant with 3 EEG electrodes is inserted under the scalp. “Using the data recorded, we can determine how many seizures occurred at what time and whether the number and intensity of the seizures changed over time during therapy.”explains Baumgartner.
