The Haitian Football League just had its very first day last weekend. At home, Ouanaminthe FC took over AS Capoise (1-0) and thanks to a double from Stamar Mervens, Baltimore SC dominated Cosmopolites SC (2-0).
The Captains of the Border were waiting for the Vieux Coq Capois at Notre Dame Park for a shock of unique intensity. It was the locals who had the last word. Widjoly Minoche’s achievement sealed the fate of the game. And AS Capoise recorded its first misstep of the season.
Baltimore is starting this new exercise in the most beautiful way. His rival was the Cosmopolites. And the flamengo and noir delivered the goods. Stamar Mervens was really into it. Well inspired, he was able to find the back of the opposing team’s net twice. The victory (2-0) went to Ernso Datus’ men.
In its stronghold, FICA could not do better than a draw (1-1) with the Tempête de Saint Marc who had taken the lead thanks to Rosemond Olive on a penalty. Evenson Dalys had equalized for the proud Colombe. On the road, Cavaly AS was able to save the draw against América des Cayes (1-1).
In the advanced match, the Racing Club Haïtien dominated Juventus des Cayes (2-0) at Parc Sainte Thérèse.
