City duel: Last weekend the 1st Ilmenau Badminton Club and SV 1880 Unterprölitz dueled in the Thuringia League. The Unterprölitz team got the better end: they won against their Ilmenau local rivals with a total of 6:2. Leon Schröder and Thomas Pohl from Unterpörlitz were able to win their doubles match against Max Keßler and Max Gaida. Stefan Horn and Thomas Handte were able to score important points for Ilmenau in the doubles, before Anne Seifert and Tina Husband were successful again for Unterpörlitz. Likewise, three out of four singles games and the mixed doubles went to the SV.
