VIENNA. Imperial meets digital: With the new campaign “Austria is just a feeling for life”, Austria Advertising is continuing its international image offensive – this time with a focus on the cold season. Together with Wien Nord Serviceplan, Kaiserschnitt and Pixel Adgency, the campaign combines Austria’s imperial heritage with modern lifestyle, AI and innovative 3D formats.
The central campaign motif is Empress Elisabeth. “Sisi” becomes a modern symbol for the Austrian mix of style, self-irony and joie de vivre – depicted in 3D ads, “Fake Out of Home” spots and as the humorous “AI-Sisi” on social media. “We want to show an image of Austria that touches people and surprises them at the same time. It’s about real encounters, about freedom and about consciously experiencing moments – that’s the attitude to life that makes our country unique,” explains Sandra Stichauner, Chief Marketing Officer of Austria Advertising.
The 3D ad “Sisi on Ski”, which runs on large city screens in six countries, attracts particular attention. In addition, “AI-Sisi” ensures viral reach among younger target groups on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. The AI Empress appears, for example, while taking an ice bath or on skis – charming, self-confident and with a wink.
The campaign will be rolled out in 13 international markets – including Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Great Britain, France, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia. With the campaign, Austria Advertising wants to position Austria as an inspiring all-year-round destination with a distinctive attitude to life – between tradition and digital modernity. (red)
