I Los Angeles Lakers they announced that Austin Reaves he suffers from a left calf strain and will be re-evaluated in about a week. The problem was described as “mild” by the team.
Typically this type of injury keeps players out for 2-4 weeks, but Reaves was having a breakout season: averaging 27.8 points, 6.7 assists and 5.6 rebounds, close to 50/40/90.
In the last two games, however, his numbers had dropped, with 13 points on average and 28.1% shooting. JJ Redick he recalled the weight of the recent calendar, citing the three very demanding matches between Toronto, Boston and Philadelphia.
