Aurora Aksnes emerged as a surprise during the celebration.

The royal family with King Harald in the lead had invited to the 100th anniversary in a beautiful environment at Gamlehaugen.

It was an excited audience who welcomed the royal family during the celebration. The Crown Prince got a tramp when he walked from the royal stand down to the stage to keep his welcome speech.

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary, King Harald, Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit invite to a big celebration with an outdoor concert.

Several thousands participated

– It’s really fun to see that so many have come here, the Crown Prince started saying.

According to police, it is estimated that between 3000 and 4,000 audience members were present, but they inform NTB that they stopped counting after 2000.

“The old mound is of course a special place for us in the royal family,” said the Crown Prince during his welcome speech.

The event was free for anyone who wanted, and it was signposted with “big musical surprises”. Among the surprises was a secret artist, and there were probably many who blocked their eyes when Aurora appeared.

The old mound in Bergen has been royal official residence in Bergen for a hundred years.

Several cultural touches

The 29-year-old with well over a billion Spotify streams, the King, Queen Sonja and the Crown Prince couple, had invited a party night.

In addition to Aurora, several musical elements were helping to color a beautiful summer evening in the western capital. Led by Stian Blipp also got the audience to see Åsane City, Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, Edvard Grieg Girl Choir and the Navy’s Music Corps. Sondre Lerche also appeared unannounced.

The old mound is the king’s official residence in Bergen. The residence was built by a businessman, politician and former Prime Minister Christian Michelsen, who lived there until his death.

A nationwide fundraising campaign was then launched to raise money for a fund for the conservation of Gamlehaugen. The property was taken over by the state, and it has since been national property with publicly available park, royal residence and museum.
