Augusto Medina: First Balleza Report – News Code 13

The mayor highlighted works, support for the field and social programs with an investment of more than 117 million pesos

The municipal president Augusto Medina presented his first government report within his second administration, where he announced the results achieved during the last year in Balleza. The Municipal Auditorium was the scenario where inhabitants of different communities, local representatives and indigenous leaders who came to listen to the balance of activities met.

Medina stressed that in this period more than 117 million pesos were allocated to public works, mainly in basic infrastructure. Pavements, drinking water and drainage systems, roofs, school classrooms and electrifications in rural communities were performed, which allowed to improve mobility and services for hundreds of families.

As for housing, the mayor mentioned that solar cells and boilers were installed for free, in addition to the construction of firm roofs and floors, rehabilitation of facades and extensions with additional rooms, measures that seek to raise the quality of life in homes.

Another key point was the support for producers of the countryside, considered an economic engine of the municipality. Among the shares, the delivery of stubble bales, ground corn, oatmeal, subsidies in pastures, in addition to the construction of presents, storage and road tracking. Even technology with agricultural drones for fertilization work was applied.

The mayor also stressed that security with the greatest police presence, training to the elements and better equipment was reinforced. In parallel, public services crews maintained permanent cleaning, garbage collection, lighting and rehabilitation of green areas.

In the social area, economic and food support were delivered to families in vulnerable situations, as well as assistance to older adults, women and people with disabilities. There were also health days and cultural workshops aimed at different sectors of the population.

At the close of his message, Augusto Medina said that this first report marks only the beginning of a broader work and reiterated that its administration will continue to promote projects that detonate development and more opportunities throughout the municipality.
