This model will be manufactured at the Ingolstadt plant. In collaboration with SAIC, a state-owned enterprise, Audi plans to launch three models in the coming years, starting with a specific model tailored for the Chinese market. This model will debut at the Shanghai Motor Show on April 23.
This China-specific model will feature a simple “Audi” inscription on the front rather of the traditional four rings. This decision underscores the distinct nature of this vehicle, which is being developed on a platform provided by SAIC, reducing the development time by 30%.This collaboration allows audi to quickly adapt to the specific demands and preferences of Chinese consumers.
The pure electric car is based on the Audi E concept, so it retains its favorite body shape, which is somewhere between SUVs and Shooting Brake.
