Atlanta to Spokane Flight Diverted – Mechanical Issues

SPOKANE, Wash. — A Delta flight traveling from Atlanta to Spokane was diverted to Salt Lake City, Utah, due to a “mechanical issue.”

Delta said Flight DL787 was diverted due to a mechanical issue and landed safely. The company said passengers were moved to another aircraft.

The airline said it will release a statement regarding the issue at some point Wednesday afternoon.
