Confirmed:
For the past year and a half, Jadon Sancho has been on loan in both Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund.
This season, the 25-year-old will play for Aston Villa, also on loan from Manchester United. The confirmation of the transition came on overtime on the last day of the transition window.
According to the reports, United receives a non-raised loan amount. In addition, Villa will cover 80 percent of Sancho’s salary – a proportion that can increase to 100 percent if certain “achievable bonuses” are triggered.
Sancho’s contract expires after the season, but United have the opportunity to take advantage of an extension option of another year if they want to make an attempt to get a transitional sum for Sancho in 2026.

Long summer
Where Jadon Sancho’s career should go on has been a big question mark in recent months.
After the 2024/25 season, he could become permanent Chelsea player, but the parties never agreed on the personal conditions. Instead, Chelsea paid five million pounds to Manchester United to buy out of the original agreement.
Sancho, who has been part of much -talked about “Bomb Squad”, has this summer been strongly linked to several Italian clubs. Juventus in particular should have been close to securing the edge player for a while.
However, those reports gradually quit, before Rome, Borussia Dortmund and Beşiktaş also came on the field – without a transition to these clubs being made for various reasons.
Instead, Sancho stays in the Premier League. This time he will try in Aston Villa.
There he becomes a teammate with Victor Lindelöf, who was confirmed ready for the club earlier on Deadline Day.
