The Brussels firefighters were in intervention on the night of Wednesday to Thursday for an impressive fire which broke out in a building located at the intersection of the avenue des Volutentes and the Chaussée de Wavre. The first calls took place around 11 p.m.
The fire started at the roof of the Maison du Bois, an event room belonging to the Brussels cabbage group, located on the Arsenal website. Three self-landslides in water tower mode, four autopumps and a tanker truck were mobilized. Vivaqua was asked to increase the pressure in the pipes. A large security zone was delimited by the Montgomery zone police.

A security perimeter has been established in order to let the many emergency vehicles intervene. Smoke clearances are important. The firefighters advise residents to close doors and windows as well as to cut any ventilation.
