Mumbai: Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar got married. Arjun married Sania Chandok in a grand ceremony held in Mumbai on Thursday. The function turned out to be a huge star-studded event with celebrities from the fields of cricket, film and business lined up. The wedding was held at a private venue in South Mumbai. They got engaged on August 25 last year. The wedding ceremonies took place after weeks of celebrations.

Ex-Indian captain MS Dhoni came with his wife Sakshi which created a lot of excitement among the fans. Just before the T20 World Cup semi-final, Indian coach Gautam Gambhir and his wife Natasha Jain got married. Cricket legends like Sunil Gavaskar, Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble, Ravi Shastri, Yuvraj Singh, Irfan Pathan, Virender Sehwag, Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh and others attended the function along with their families. ICC Chairman Jai Shah and Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar were also present at the wedding.

Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan attended with their family and made the presence of the film world. Who is Sania Chandok?
Sania is a member of the prominent ‘Ghai’ family of Mumbai. Sania is the granddaughter of Iqbal Krishan Ghai, who founded the iconic brand Quality Ice Cream and the Intercontinental Hotel in Mumbai. He owns Gravis Hospitality Group, which leads Baskin-Robbins’ operations in India. A graduate of the London School of Economics, Sania is also a veterinary technician. She also runs a luxury pet spa in Mumbai called ‘Mr. Pose’. Earlier, the Ambani family had organized special pre-wedding celebrations for the guests in Jamnagar.
