Wednesday December 3 at 3 p.m., the Les Quinconces cinema in Vals will host the screening of the film Le Triangle d’or in the presence of its director. A documentary by Patrick Bernard, which takes viewers to a long-isolated region in the mountains of South China, Laos, Vietnam and Thailand, to meet the Dong and Bouyei.
A population which constitutes a mosaic of fascinating Sino-Tibetan ethnic groups which have managed to preserve their fascinating cultural riches to this day, despite Chinese domination.
