Arc Raiders: Greasing Her Palms Quest Guide

The Greasing Her Palms mission in Arc Raiders is similar to What We Left Behind, as it is one of the few missions that requires you to travel to three different maps to complete its objectives. As expected, they are time consuming and often put you at risk of dying and losing all your loot while fighting in open areas.

Instead of randomly wandering around the Dam Battlegrounds, Spaceport, and Buried City areas, this guide shows you the exact locations you must visit to complete each step of the quest.
Remember that you need to keep the Dam Surveillance Key that Celeste gives you when accepting the quest, because you will need it to complete one of the main objectives in this quest.

What is ARC Raiders?

ARC Raiders is a cooperative third-person shooter that combines survival and exploration in a futuristic world overrun by massive machines known as ARC. The game takes place on Earth after the collapse of human civilization, where the survivors live in an underground colony known as Speranza, and undertake dangerous raids to the surface in search of rare resources and valuable equipment amid the remains of ancient technology and dangers lurking everywhere.

The game is based on the Extraction Shooter system, which combines tactical combat with collecting resources and then extracting them safely before death, as the player loses everything he has collected if he fails to return to the base. The experience can be played alone or in a team of three players, as success in missions requires careful team coordination and exploitation of the environment to the advantage of the team.

How to complete the Greasing Her Palms quest in Arc Raiders

To complete the Greasing Her Palms quest, you’ll need to visit three specific locations located on three different maps, which is a relatively long quest and requires careful planning before setting off.

It is recommended to use Free Loadout while completing quest steps in the Spaceport and Buried City areas, in order to reduce losses if you die during combat or lose loot.
As for the Dam Battlegrounds area, it is better to use your own equipment, because you will need the Dam Surveillance Key, which you must keep inside the Safe Pocket to avoid losing it if you die while carrying out the mission.

Careful equipment management in these stages is necessary, because the mission extends through areas full of enemies, and any mistake may force you to repeat the steps from the beginning.

Dam Battlegrounds: Water treatment control room

In the Dam Battlegrounds area, you will need to visit the Locked Room inside the Water Treatment Control building located on the southwest side of the map.
This room can only be entered using the Dam Surveillance Key that you get when accepting the quest Greasing Her Palms. If for any reason you lose the key, you can find replacement keys within the same area while exploring.

How to access the locked room

1. Enter the building from the south side.
2. Head straight through the main door and turn right into a dark corridor.
3. Turn right again, and you’ll notice a locked door monitored by a security camera mounted in the corner.
4. Use the Dam Surveillance Key to open the door and enter the room.

Once you enter the room, the quest step will be automatically counted as complete, but don’t miss the opportunity to search it, as locked rooms usually contain valuable loot.
For example, you can find rare equipment like a free Bobcat rifle inside, which is an excellent reward that is worth the effort spent getting to this place.

Spaceport: Rocket nozzles at the assembly facility

On the Spaceport map in Arc Raiders, the Greasing Her Palms mission requires you to go to the Rocket Assembly area to inspect the Rocket Thrusters outside the main assembly building.
This step represents the second phase of the mission after completing the Dam Battlegrounds site, and it is one of the phases that requires great focus due to the open and dangerous nature of the area.

You’ll find the massive rocket in the open sandy area between the Rocket Assembly building and Control Tower A6 at the Spaceport base. This site is easy to find since the missile is one of the largest landmarks in the area and can be seen from a distance thanks to its massive size and shiny metal structure.

However, it is important to know that you do not need to go towards the top of the missile or its main entrance inside the assembly facility, but rather you must go specifically to the southwestern side of the missile, which is the area closest to Control Tower A6. This is where the Thrusters are located — the exact point you need to inspect to complete this phase of the job.

When you approach the nozzles, the system will automatically register that you have completed this step of the Greasing Her Palms mission, and you will not need to use any tools or switches. However, it is important that you move carefully while heading there, because the area is completely exposed and does not have enough cover to protect you from other players’ fire.

The area around Rocket Assembly is one of the most crowded areas in the Spaceport map, especially around the open sandy arena (Rocket Plaza), where it is very easy to be spotted from a distance by snipers or other teams wandering around. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you use the surrounding natural terrain, such as ruins or abandoned vehicles, to move through and avoid direct confrontation.

If you do not have strong equipment, you can perform this step using Free Loadout to reduce losses if you are killed during the mission, because losing loot in this area is very common.
If you want to take advantage of the surrounding resources, after completing the mission, you can check the location to find boxes containing ammunition or rare equipment near the missile base or on both sides of the arena.

Once you approach the craters on the southwest side, you will notice that the system records the mission as complete immediately without the need for manual interaction, meaning this step has officially been completed. After that, you can safely move towards your next destination, Buried City, to complete the third and final part of the Greasing Her Palms quest.

Buried City: The barricaded room in the Space Travel building

In Buried City, your goal in Greasing Her Palms is to reach the Barricaded Area on the sixth floor of the Space Travel Building.
This part of the mission is fairly straightforward in execution, but requires some caution when navigating the building, especially as the corridors are dark and narrow and may contain opponents or other players.

Detailed steps to complete the goal

1. Head to the Space Travel Building:
   This building is located north of the center of Buried City, and you can easily recognize it by the large illuminated sign at the main entrance.
2. Go up the stairs until you reach the sixth floor:
   When you enter from the ground floor, you will find stairs leading to the upper floors.
   Use it to climb until you reach the sixth floor — to help you know your position, you’ll notice large numbers painted on the walls on each floor indicating your current level.
3. Find the barricaded conference room:
   When you reach the sixth floor, turn right and continue walking until you pass by the JKN “J. Kozma Ventures” sign hanging on the wall.
   Immediately after that, turn right a second time to enter the Boardroom, which is the location of the desired target.
4. Complete the task:
   Once you enter the room or approach the barricaded area, the objective will automatically be recorded as completed, and you will not need to use any additional tools or keys.

Final stage: Return to Celeste in Speranza

After visiting all three required locations in the Greasing Her Palms quest – which are:

• The locked room in Dam Battlegrounds
• Rocket nozzles in Spaceport
• The dungeon room in Buried City

You will have to return to Celeste in Speranza to hand in the quest and receive your final rewards.

Rewards

Despite the length of the mission and its many stages, the rewards you get at the end are not large or very special, and include the following:

• Lure Grenade Blueprint
• 3 Speaker Components
• 3 Electrical Components

Loudspeaker components are used to make Lure Grenades and Photoelectric Cloaks, but have no broad uses outside of that.
Electrical components are more useful because they are used in advanced recipes, Workshop Upgrades, and also in Expedition Projects that are part of base and equipment development.
