by Archynetys News Desk

In a video released in the last few hours by the Colombian National Police, it was revealed what the operation was like in which one of the leaders of the Aragua Train in Chile died, who was hiding in a building in the Aves María sector, in the urban area of the municipality of Sabaneta, Antioquia. In this procedure, three other alleged members of this organization who were leading expansionist processes in the Aburrá Valley also fell.

The death of the Venezuelan Ender Alexis Rojas Montán, 31 years old, occurred around noon last Thursday, October 9, on Calle 72 Sur with Carrera 34, in this municipality in the south of the metropolitan area of Medellín, when members of the Colombian Police, the Chilean Police and Interpol units arrived at the building, where they would have located this ringleader, who had been a fugitive from Chile since June 4, 2024, now other alleged members.

When the uniformed officers opened the door using force, they were able to observe how Rojas Montán left through the balcony of this building with the idea of reaching the one on the lower floor and escaping there. However, the strength of his hands was not enough to hold on to the railing and this caused him to fall into the void, dying instantly.

In the midst of this operation, Luis Alberto Cabeza Calderón, alias Toro, one of the most wanted in Peru since 2023, was also captured after being accused of leading the Los Gallegos cell, one of the strongest of this criminal group in the trans-Andean country. According to media reports from that country at the time, this man had arrived to take over the work of Héctor Prieto Materano, alias Mamut, captured in Lima that year and who is detained in the Challapalca prison, in the city of Tacna, 1,200 kilometers south of Lima.

Colonel Edgar Andrés Correa, director of the Gaula of the National Police, explained that alias Toro had already been championing expansionist work in Colombia and is being investigated for the commission of criminal actions in Fusagasugá, Cundinamarca, mainly related to the marketing of narcotic substances and extortion.

Cabeza Calderón would be one of the most trusted men of Héctor Rusthenford Guerrero Flores, alias Niño Guerrero, top leader of this transnational criminal structure. In fact, Peruvian judicial sources indicated that this man would have arrived in Peru by order of the top leader of this criminal gang and something similar would be happening in Colombia, after the work carried out in Peru, expanding the presence in cities such as Cuzco, Arequipa, Ica and La Libertad.

Yonathan Samuel Urbina Rodríguez, alias El Gordo, also fell, who would be in charge of the expansionist work of the Aragua Train in the Aburrá Valley, through the distribution of synthetic drugs and the management of illicit income in some territories such as the center of Medellín. Finally, in this operation, known as Sombra 3, they arrested Daviannys del Jesús Moya Ávila, alias La Gallega, a woman who would be carrying out pimping work throughout the country under the tutelage of this criminal group.

“According to the investigations, alias Ender and Toro would have arrived in Colombia in 2024, after leading cells of the Aragua Train dedicated to extortion, kidnapping and trafficking of synthetic drugs in Chile and Peru, seeking to expand the reach of the organization from Colombian territory,” explained the senior officer.

In this procedure, the leaders of this criminal group were seized two Glock brand pistols, a fragmentation grenade, a supplier with 32 cartridges and a pound of amphetamine that was going to be used for the production of tusi and which is valued at approximately 50 million pesos.
