Education And Lifelong Learning Initiatives In Japan: A…
last month I wrote about education in Japan this time. Continue a little longer. About the issue “Promoting lifelong learning or Lifelong Learning” which in Japan is very interesting.
Currently, Japan is a fully aging society, with a population aged 65 and over as high as 28 percent, and has the highest population over a hundred years in the world. There are more than 86,000 people. The Japanese government has guidelines for the development of Japan in “Society 5.0” which focuses on IOT (Internet of Things), which means that everything can be connected to the Internet through modern technology. This plays a huge role in helping to support the lives of the elderly population. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Technology (MEXT) is making efforts to promote lifelong learning for older people. By providing education to the elderly in various forms. More Offline and Online
In the past, Japan had educational reforms first in 2018. The key is to prepare elderly citizens to enter the year 2030 with quality and happiness, able to keep up with rapidly changing technology. So it is the Ministry of MEXT has improved the basic education curriculum. Let it be a “Curriculum for Society” with a focus on developing people in 3 areas:

Fagradalsfjall Volcano Eruption: Latest News And Updates From…
2024-02-10 12:36:47
Fagradalsfjall erupted for the third time in two months early Thursday, depriving 28,000 residents of heat at -14 degrees. This volcano located northeast of the town of Grindavik (southwest of Iceland) has indeed damaged the water and electricity circuits of a geothermal power plant.
The incident affects all residents of the Reykjanes peninsula, 40km from Reykjavik, the capital. The extent of the damage remains to be assessed, but the worst has been avoided, reassures the mayor of Grindavik.
“We don’t know what the consequences will be exactly, but it is of course a very serious matter… But otherwise we are happy that the infrastructure and buildings of Grindavik are not in danger in the current state of affairs,” declares Fannar Jónasson in Saturday’s 12:45 p.m.
Repair work took place all night, in a temperature of -14°C and in difficult access conditions due to the presence of lava. Authorities hope to restore hot water in the coming hours.
Civil protection is trying as best they can to stem the flow, but roads are completely cut off by the lava.

Turkey Is NATO And The End? 2024-02-10 12:53:02
When several Turkish media simultaneously announced that Russian President Putin is “waiting for February 12” in Ankara, EU Security and Foreign Policy Commissioner Josep Borel told reporters in Brussels that they are making a new offer for dialogue to Turkey, also considering the Cyprus settlement. This was followed by the answer of the Turkish Foreign Minister Fidan that Turkey does not have time, it must have “an alternative and a new historical path”.
Putin’s visit to Ankara has been postponed. There is an expert perception that he will meet Erdogan after the presidential elections. But there are also elections in Turkey. And if Putin’s victory is not in doubt, then no one can say with certainty that Erdogan will succeed in “conquering Istanbul” and appoint the candidate of the ruling “Justice and Development” party as mayor. The same applies to Ankara and several other cities. In this regard, the approach of the West can affect the results of local elections.
“Milliyet” writes that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the “Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus” Tahsin Erturgruloglu visited Ankara and “had various contacts for several days”. The media does not elaborate on the level and format of the negotiations,
Ukraine Russia War, Last Minute | Ukraine Calls…
As the second anniversary of the beginning of the war in ukrainethe authorities of Kiev have demanded the high representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, more ammunition and air defense systems, while trying to develop an army of drones to try to compensate for their lack of weapons.
Ukraine urgently needs ammunition to try to move the stalled front line and, although it welcomes the multi-million dollar financial, military and humanitarian aid provided by the EU, the million ammunition is missing which I expected to have received in total in March. They have delivered 52% so far and the forecasts are that by the end of the year there will be 1,155,000 ammunition.
Meanwhile, one day after the massive attack launched by Russia that left four dead in kyiv and one in Mykolaiv, Ukraine claims to have shot down 11 of the 17 drones launched this morning. Regional authorities stated that the attack damaged more than 20 homes and commercial buildings in the city of Mykolayiv and hit civil infrastructure facilities in Odessa, on the shores of the Black Sea.

Although the scope of the study is large, and people from as many as 106 countries participated in it, it is not yet enough to prove that a higher body temperature causes depression or, on the contrary, that depression leads to a higher body temperature.
But the researchers say in the study’s findings that there is a connection worth investigating. The emphasis is on the fact that if something as simple as keeping the rooms cool could help overcome the symptoms of depression, then it could potentially help millions of people around the world. So, in order to treat and prevent depression more effectively, we need to know more about the brain and the body in which it occurs. The study is published in the journal Scientific Reports.

- US Justice Department investigators have found classified documents improperly stored in President Joe Biden’s garage.
- Prosecutor Robert Hur believes that Biden, due to his advanced age and general derangement, cannot be held responsible and does not recommend filing charges.
- Aftonbladet’s editorial page believes that this could damage Biden’s campaign before the upcoming presidential election, as it confirms that he appears too old for office.

The classified documents were in boxes in Joe Biden’s garage. Some were in folders in the filing cabinet under the president’s television.
This is not the way to store secret documents, if there were any doubts about that. But the prosecutor who investigated the whole thing still ended up with the recommendation not to press charges against Biden.

Authorities are currently conducting a search in the River Thames for Abdul Shokoor Ezedi, the suspect in the Clapham chemical attack.
Detectives have reason to believe that the 35-year-old individual may have met his demise after entering the water close to Chelsea Bridge in west London on January 31, shortly after the attack occurred.
Surveillance footage captured Ezedi pacing back and forth on the bridge before vanishing from sight, according to law enforcement officials.
Ezedi stands accused of splashing a woman, with whom he had a prior relationship, and her daughters with a corrosive substance.
The Metropolitan Police initiated boat searches at low tide near Chelsea Bridge and the adjacent river area starting at approximately 09:00 GMT on Saturday morning.
Having been last spotted on the bridge at 23:27, approximately four hours post-attack, Ezedi was not observed leaving the vicinity.
During a briefing on Friday, Metropolitan officers disclosed that the Thames search operation would involve vessels from the Marine Policing Unit.
