In his newsletter Power OnMark Gurman also Bloomberg indicates that Apple would plan three consecutive days of product announcements, from Monday March 2 to Wednesday March 4.
In total, he expects Apple to present at least five products.
A week earlier, Apple invited selected journalists and content creators to an “Apple Experience” held in New York, London and Shanghai on Wednesday, March 4 at 9 a.m. ET. During these face-to-face events, guests should be able to handle the new products announced.
The event being presented as an “Apple Experience”, it should not be a classic live-streamed keynote. The products would be revealed via a series of press releases published on the Apple Newsroom site.
A low-cost MacBook almost guaranteed
According to Mark Gurman, a new, more affordable MacBook would be most likely one of the products presented.
Among the features mentioned are a 12.9-inch screen, a version of the A18 Pro chip from the iPhone 16 Pro and several original colors.
The iPhone 17e expected in early March
Mark Gurman also expects the iPhone 17e to be unveiled by the first week of March.
This model would offer four major improvements over the iPhone 16e: the A19 chip, MagSafe, Apple’s C1X modem for faster 5G and the N1 chip for Wi-Fi 7.
Other potential products
Other products likely to be announced include:
- An iPad Air equipped with the M4 chip
- An iPad 12 with A18 chip
- A MacBook Air with the M5 chip
- MacBook Pros with M5 Pro and M5 Max chips
Two new Studio Displays are also in the works, but Mark Gurman believes that launching them simultaneously might be excessive.
At any rate, the next Apple products now seem to be just a few days away from their official presentation.
This new round of announcements comes after the launch of the second generation of AirTag last month.
