Apple AI Wearables: Development Plans Revealed

Bloomberg Technoz, Jakarta – Apple is developing a wearable artificial intelligence device, according to reports The Information.

The AI Wearable device from Apple is said to be equipped with two cameras and three microphones in a pin-like shape and users can wear it through their clothes.

If it is true, Apple is following what is being developed by OpenAI through the company acquired by former Apple designer Jony Ive. In fact, news later said that there were several products being prepared, one of which was in the form of a pen with AI-based technology.

Previously, OpenAI Chief Global Affairs Officer Chris Lehane revealed the opportunity to announce his highly anticipated first AI hardware in the second half of this year, as reported by Axios as quoted on Thursday (22/1/2026).

The report says Apple’s device is described as a “thin, flat, round disc with an aluminum and glass shell,” which engineers expect to be the same size as an AirTag, “only slightly thicker.”
