The Gyeongsangbuk-do Culture and Tourism Organization recently invited foreign students from Gyeongju Information High School to Gyeongju Expo Grand Park to commemorate the hosting of the 2025 APEC Summit and held a representative cultural performance, ‘The Show!’ It provided an opportunity to watch ‘Silla’.
This cultural exchange event had added meaning as international students from Vietnam, an APEC member country, participated.
The international students vividly experienced the history and culture of Silla through the performance and had time to learn about local traditions and values.
Kim Nam-il, president of the corporation, explained, “This program is to promote the charms of Gyeongbuk and Gyeongju to foreign students and expand opportunities to enjoy culture.”
He continued, “We will continue to engage in exchange activities targeting various groups, including the disabled and global youth, and strive to establish Gyeongbuk and Gyeongju as open cities that communicate with the world.”
Meanwhile, as a public institution, the Corporation is strengthening coexistence with the local community to practice social responsibility.
This year, we are expanding our social contribution activities targeting socially disadvantaged groups such as the disabled and multicultural families.
