“The show brought back to me a trauma that I had forgotten for 30 years. It seemed to me that some viewers could not understand the situation based on what they saw. This hurt me the most,” she told Bors, adding that this case also reflects the reality where women living in a similar situation choose to remain silent for fear of the consequences.
Women are afraid that they will not be believed or that they will be blamed. They are ashamed and do not dare to speak. It happens to a lot more people than we actually think.
Miló revealed that since the show, many people have written to him, asking him for help on the topic, so they also started a joint campaign with Dániel Szilágyi, whom he met on the show.
“I will not remain silent! It is very important that we dare to speak. I tell people that we should never blame a victim, because a victim can never be at fault! But we should help them and always stand by them.” – he stated, then concluded his speech with:
