Electronic Arts announced the date of the off the Anthem serverthe MMO of BioWare who, as you probably know, has not received particular success between the public.
It will be possible to continue playing until January 12, 2026date on which and will definitively deactivate the servers. Since all the content of the game are online, this means that it will not be possible to continue accessing the contents of the game later.
Anthem will disappear from EA and EA Play store next month
The company has announced that starting today, Anthem players will no longer be able to buy the Premium currency, but that the one already in possession can be continued for in-game purchases. In addition, the game will be removed from the sale from EA’s store and EA Play playlist from August 15, but anyone who has previously purchased it can freely re -download it until the server is closed.

Launched on February 22, 2019 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, Anthem presented himself as a Action GDR MMO very ambitiouswhich promised a shared, dynamic and constantly evolving world, where the players wore the powerful exoskeletons called arrows (or Javelin) to face solitary and cooperative missions in a Sci-Fi universe.
Unfortunately, despite the excellent premises, at the launch the game was worried about critics and the public due to scarce and repetitive contenttechnical problems, a little impact fiction and a not very rewarding progression. The following year BioWare had announced a plan to relaunch the game, called Anthem Nexthowever in February 2021 the development was definitively interrupted and the title has not been received significant updates since then.
