Typically, Apple unveils its new iPhone series in September. It’s unusual for competitors to launch flagship devices concurrently. Though, this year, with the potential early release of next-generation flagship 5G chips from Qualcomm and MediaTek, speculation is growing that Android brands may launch their new devices in September, directly challenging the iPhone 17 series.

According to domestic whistleblower “The Factory Director is Guan,” the upcoming generation of Android flagships may debut earlier then in previous years, with releases primarily concentrated between late September and early October, coinciding with the anticipated iPhone 17 series launch.

The expected lineup of new Android devices includes the HONOR Magic8 series, OPPO Find X9 series, vivo X300 series, and Xiaomi 16 series. Only HUAWEI maintains the habit of promoting Mate’s new works at the end of the year (December).
