Temporary emergency solution
Until then, you can try something yourself. Clear the cache and data of the Android Auto app via Settings → Apps → Android Auto. Then restart your phone and reconnect. If that doesn’t help, you can delete the app and reinstall it. Please note: sometimes this does not solve the problem at all.
Please be patient
Until Google comes up with a fix, there is little choice but to wait. Therefore, provide an alternative for navigating or listening to music, so that you are not faced with any surprises along the way.
