Following a break after their participation in the Club World Cup, Club América has resumed training at the Coapa facilities. While the team has announced several departures for the Opening 2025 season, they have been relatively quiet in terms of new signings. Actually, They are one of the few MX League teams that have not had reinforcements.

Though, during one of the initial training sessions after the holidays, a familiar face was spotted training under the guidance of André Jardine: Santiago Naveda, Azulcrema Canstrano who was on loan with Santos Laguna.After spending a year with Santos Laguna, Naveda has rejoined his former teammates.

The return of Santiago Naveda could have two readings. One possibility is that he will compete for a spot in André Jardine’s lineup. Alternatively, he might be loaned out again if securing a place in the team proves challenging.
