The annual “lintjesregen” (ribbon rain) saw both prominent figures and everyday heroes recognized for their outstanding service.

Among those honored were several well-known personalities.Saskia Belleman, a court reporter for the Telegraph, was appointed Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau, acknowledging her dedication to journalistic integrity and insightful reporting on important legal cases. Her work provides a crucial service to the public, ensuring clarity and accountability within the justice system.

The vibrant cultural scene of Amsterdam was also represented, with DJ Eddy De Clercq receiving a royal decoration for his contributions to the music industry.
