One of the momentous changes that the valuable stallion American Pharoah will have in early 2026 is that he will be sent to another nation to serve as a stallion.
BloodHorse indicated through its portal: “Triple Crown winner American Pharoah is expected to settle at Japan’s Shizunai Stud Station for the 2026 breeding season, in collaboration with the Japanese Bloodhorse Breeders Association (JBBA). The son of Pioneerof The Nile will return to his base at the Ashford Stud in Coolmore, United States. United, in July 2026.”
American Pharoah is an American Thoroughbred racehorse known for being the twelfth American Triple Crown and was also the first horse since Affirmed in 1978 to win the North American Triple Crown.
Mystik Dan will debut in 2026
The colorful four-year-old runner, winner of the 2024 Kentucky Derby (G1) and second in the Preakness Stakes (G1) that season, Mystik Dan, will retire after participating in the Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile on Saturday, November 1, and then move on to his role as a stallion on the farm near Midway, Kentucky.
The winner a couple of weeks ago of the Lukas Classic Stakes (G-2) with the Venezuelan Francisco Arrieta, will have his jumping price at $15,000 for the 2026 season.
Mystik Dan is a son of Goldencents out of Ma’Am by Colonel John, a 5-for-16 winner for Kenneth McPeek’s stable.

Another retiring is Jonathan’s Way, the first son of the sensational Vekoma to take up stud duties from next year. Your jump will be at $8,500
Jonathan’s Way achieved two wins in four appearances, including the 2024 Iroquois (G-3). He was unable to race in 2025 due to a life-threatening colitis attack. JCM
