Once again this season, significant snowfall (more than 30 cm of snow) and stormy winds are expected this weekend in the Pyrenees. Combined with insufficient snow cover off-piste at low altitude, these conditions do not allow the Altitoy organization to maintain the competition in satisfactory safety conditions.
The organizers and the FFME have therefore made the decision to cancel the Altitoy event scheduled for January 31 and February 1, 2026 in Luz Ardiden and support for the 2026 French senior team championship.
Registered persons will receive information concerning the postponement of their registration for a later event or the reimbursement of their registration (choice to be confirmed to the organization).
Relocation of the French team championship.
The FFME competition department takes the decision to relocate the French Championship to Belle Etoile (Isère) which takes place on the same date, also over two days. The Belle Etoile organization provides some bibs to the best national teams: contact Olivier MANSIOT by whatsapp on 06 76 41 47 62 this Wednesday January 28 before 8 p.m.
