“All Her Fault” is an eight-episode psychological thriller mini-series created by Megan Gallagher, adapted from the eponymous novel by Irish author Andrea Mara published in 2021. It can be seen since January 5, Mondays on Play RTS, then in full from January 25.
The plot of the miniseries “All Her Fault” takes place in Chicago, United States. Marissa Irvine (Sarah Snook) receives a text from Jenny Kaminski (Dakota Fanning), the mother of a classmate at her five-year-old son Milo’s new school, where he went to play. As indicated in the message, Marissa shows up at 14 Arthur Avenue to pick up her son who is supposed to be playing with little Jacob. But the woman who opens the door is neither Jacob’s mother nor his nanny. Then begins for Marissa and her husband Peter (Jake Lacy) every parent’s worst nightmare: the desperate search for their son of whom they no longer have any trace.
Quickly, Marissa and Peter call on the media to help them find their son. Problem is, while they live very well, the journalists raise alleged money problems, thus discrediting the couple accused of having staged Milo’s disappearance for money. At the same time, a serious lead is emerging, pointing to the nanny of the Kaminski family. Consumed by the guilt of having brought the young woman suspected of the kidnapping into their lives, Jenny Kaminski befriends Marissa and decides to do everything possible to help her find her son.
