ALDI’S German week is highlighting items from the country’s rich culinary culture.

The retailer is selling soups, breads and desserts right now at low prices.

Shoppers can get their hands on most of the goods for under $3 each, including a jar of Sauerkraut for $1.89.

Sauerkraut is a tangy sauce made from cabbage that can be served with sandwiches and sausages.

For the price, Aldi shoppers can get a 24-ounce jar.

For more side sauces, the Red Cabbage with Apples sauce is a flavorful addition to roast dinners and sandwiches.

Aldi’s bread selection for German week brings items such as Pumpernickel Bread and Whole Rye Bread.

The Pumpernickel Bread contains whole rye kernels and adds a dense texture to meals.

It can also be used for soups and salads, and a loaf costs $2.49.

The Whole Rye Bread, also for $2.49 a loaf, adds a richer taste to meals, and it’s ideal for toasting.

There’s also a Sunflower Seed Bread for the same price, which acts as a more nutritious option.

This bread is also great for sandwiches and soups.

MAIN COURSE

Moving on to main courses, there are several soups to try, including a pea flavor for $2.75.

This pea soup is thick and creamy, with peas, carrots and leaks and perfect for lunch or dinner.

The soup can be quickly heated and then served as a hearty meal.

Aldi is also selling a Lentil Vegetable Soup, packed with red and brown lentils, carrots, potatoes, onions, and leeks.

And for a third option, there is the Harvest Potato Soup for $3.15 with potatoes, carrots and leeks.

DESSERT

For dessert, Aldi is selling a range of classic German strudels, including a Frozen Apple flavor.

Each pack of Frozen Apple Strudel contains two puff pastries filled with apples, raisins and a hint of cinnamon.

The strudel can be baked warm or paired with ice cream for $3.29.

And lastly, Aldi’s Milk Chocolate Coated Wafer Rolls make a dessert alternative for chocolate lovers.

For $2.99 a box, the wafer rolls can be paired with a coffee for a more indulgent experience, or eaten on their own.
