Alassio Tourism: Awards for Loyal Visitors – Guarancini & Corno

(AGENPARL) – Fri 29 August 2025 New recognition for the faithful tourists of Alassio delivered to Giancarlo Guarancini and Elisabetta Corno
In recent days, at the Palazzo Comunale di Alassio, a new ceremony of delivery of the official parchments of the Municipality of Alassio was held to the faithful tourists who have been choosing the city of the wall for decades as a destination for their holidays. On this occasion, the recognition was assigned to Giancarlo Guarancini, who has been attending Alassio for 69 years, and his wife Elisabetta Corno, who for 45 years spends his summers in the city of the wall.
“This symbolic moment also has an emotional value for me-said the mayor of Alassio Marco Melgrati-because Giancarlo is my cousin, son of Silvio Guarantes mayor for 30 years of Usmate-Vila, and since children we have shared many summers in Alassio, when he attended the pension of my grandmother. It is therefore a double satisfaction: as mayor, in order to be able to pay homage to two guests so fond of our city, Memories of life together ”.
