Alaska Airlines is adding nonstop flights from Portland to four more cities next year — Baltimore, Philadelphia, St. Louis and Idaho Falls.

Also this week, Alaska announced it will add a second daily flight to Newark, a third flight to Santa Rosa-Sonoma and will now fly year-round to Kaui’i.

Alaska is the busiest carrier at Portland International Airport. It will fly nonstop to 62 cities from PDX when it adds the three new destinations next May.

The carrier has been growing rapidly. About 480,000 people flew in or out of Portland on Alaska flights last month, a 21% increase from September 2024.
