The defeat of Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League (SPL) against Al-Ahli under German coach Matthias Jaissle (2:3) was overshadowed by a violent incident in the final phase.
Al-Ahli, which is fourth in the table after the win, took the lead thanks to an early brace from former Premier League striker Ivan Toney (7th, 20th), who came from Brentford FC in the summer of 2024 for 42 million euros. Al-Nassr responded with a brace from Abdulelah al-Amiri (31st, 44th) and equalized before the break.
