Ajax is close to the arrival of Samory Kone. The Belgian right winger from RSC Anderlecht will soon celebrate his sixteenth birthday and will then sign a contract in Amsterdam.
That brings news Ajax Showtime outside. All parties involved are ironing out the final wrinkles, after which Kone can sign his signature in the Johan Cruijff ArenA from January 28.
Kone will join Ajax Under 17 this winter. The Belgian youth international was followed by scouts for a long time.
Youth coach Stan Bijl will soon have a new option in the right wing position. This is a hard blow for Anderlecht, because Kone has been playing in the youth academy since 2018.
Kone is described as a ‘goal-oriented, fast winger with good dribbling and good physicality’. At Anderlecht he already played regularly with the Under 18s.
After Ethan Butera, Jorthy Mokio, Rayane Bounida and Mika Godts, Ajax has once again picked up a great talent in Belgium.
The former may leave Amsterdam on a free transfer, but the others are potential gold mines.
