Air Canada is undertaking a global overhaul of its cabins across its entire North American network.

All Boeing 737 MAX 8s in main operation will switch to the Red fleet during 2026. The devices will offer 12 seats in Business Class, 18 Preferred seats and 147 standard seatsall equipped with individual screens. A new Air Canada Rouge crew base will open in Vancouver to support this increase in power.

At the same time, the recently refurbished Airbus A320 and A321 will join the main operation. Fifteen aircraft have already been transformed to the company’s new cabin standards.
